Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems Supplier Matching Partnership with SBANE
SBANE has originated 26 market partnerships between Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems and small businesses who possess unique technology and "state-of-the-art" manufacturing services in collaborating on bidding government requests for proposal. SBANE identifies a company's core competence or technology and socializes that capability with Raytheon Integrated Defense Supply Chain personnel. If there is a match or a fit, Raytheon will schedule a site visit with its engineering team to evaluate a small business's technological capacity prior to entering into a non-disclosure agreement. Raytheon IDS and Radiation Monitoring Devices (Watertown) have won several seven-figure contracts with the federal government as a result of this process.
Matching Consulting Dollars for Manufacturers Through Lay-Off Aversion Program
SBANE has received $600,000 from the Massachusetts State Legislature in three different fiscal year cycles to help small business manufacturers defray up to 50% of hiring third-party consultants.
This matching program has benefited 67 different companies throughout the Commonwealth, who have received grant money from this program. SBANE's Lay-Off Aversion Program has supported over 2,500 jobs and $125 million in employee payroll.
