Walpole Country Club Hosts SBANE’s Annual Golf Tournament and Reception

Walpole, MA – SBANE’s annual golf tournament was held on Monday, July 20th at the Walpole Country Club in Walpole, MA. Registered golfers and attendees enjoyed a boxed lunch prior to the bramble at 12:30pm, tournament contests, raffle items, cocktails, live auction and an awards buffet dinner. Golfers also enjoyed fresh rolled cigars, courteous of Cigar Masters, available between the 18th and 1st hole. All sales benefited SBANE educational programs and the Susan B. Kohman Breast Cancer Foundation.

The tournament contests included closest to the pin, longest drive, top placed four, $10,000 putting contest, a Hole-In-One for a car courtesy of Copeland Toyota, and for the “Most Honest” team. Winning contests received credit in the Walpole Country Club Pro Shop.

Raffle items included golf shirts courteous of American Airlines, sleeves of golf balls, Cigar Masters humidor, wine gift basket, Mizuno 56 degree Lob Wedge, Titlist 19 degree Hybrid Rescue, ING pullover fleeces, Taylor Made Ladies 25 degree 5 Wood and Taylor Made 60 degree Lob wedge.

Attendees also auctioned for items including foursomes at Black Rock Country Club, Concord Country Club, Walpole Country Club, Granite Links and Thorny Lea. Others included Red Sox, Boston Celtics and Providence Bruins tickets, 2 round trip tickets from American Airlines to anywhere in the United States or the Caribbean, 4 tickets to any Comcast Center concert and a Cigar Masters Café & Lounge “Scotch and Cigar Tasting” for 6.
